TITLE SEQUENCE
THE BREIF
Animated Title Sequence for TV Show or Movie
Rick and Morty, an adult-animated science fiction sitcom, chronicles the wild escapades of Rick, the brilliant mastermind of the universe, and his grandson, Morty, as they embark on interdimensional adventures.
In designing the title sequence, my aim is to capture the show's overall eccentricity and whimsical nature through stylized illustrations. I find inspiration in animated shows and movies that take the characters and worlds of the story and present them in a highly stylized manner. This approach adds intrigue to the sequence, creating a distinct visual experience separate from the show itself.
To depict the show's antics, I envision hyper-stylized, frame-by-frame animations that emphasize unique transitions, illustrated typography, and graphics that magnify the show's themes in an exaggerated manner. The goal is to create a visually captivating sequence that engages the audience from the start.

SOCIAL MEDIA ASSETS
In addition to the title sequence, I developed accompanying social media assets as part of this project. These assets encompass two looping animations, optimized with a square aspect ratio, perfect for various social media platforms. Furthermore, a shorter, 10-second version specifically tailored for Instagram Stories was created, formatted with a vertical aspect ratio. These assets are designed to complement and enhance the overall visual presence of the project across different social media channels.
